This Sunday (12/3): A Special In-Person Opportunity in San Francisco

A Special In-Person Opportunity in San Francisco

Begin the season of Advent by reflecting on what it means to pursue faith and courage in times of proliferating crises. We have a wonderful space reserved in the Mission for what promises to be a rich time of community building.

In a world where so much is broken and burning, fear and insecurity abound, faith and courage are increasingly under duress. And yet, the call of faith is to move through fear to the work of justice. With decades of experience in justice and reconciliation work, Rev. Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil will talk with us about what it means to look deep within the Christian tradition to find courage for the work ahead. We’ll cover topics like:

  • becoming an activist
  • interceding for justice
  • speaking truth to power
  • the reconciling power of women

This is an in-person event in San Francisco at 2773 Folsom Street in the Mission District featuring conversation, dinner, and deeper connection with one another. We hope to see you Sunday!

October 2025 Choosing Love in a Fragile World Community Reflections on Good Soil In reading Jeff Chu’s book and digesting his remarks from our Fall Gathering, a theme emerged: choosing love.
